Calling all book lovers!!!
I'm doing a random drawing from my Facebook Author Page, Laura Stanford (YA Writer), next month! Want to play? It's soooo easy! All you have to do is "Like" my page! The winner will be announced here on the blog (and on my FB page) at the end of August.
With my very own piggy bank money, I'll send a $10 Barnes & Noble gift card to the winner of the drawing!
How do you know it'll be fair? On the last day of August, I will print a list of my Facebook Fans, cut it into strips, and have my husband draw one from a hat (or a diaper bag, whatever is handy at the time) and you have my word, my mother won't win. (She's not on FB anyway).
Good luck!

What I Write
My young adult novels are dark, edgy, and realistic. Although I love paranormal and fantasy books, I prefer to create stories that could really happen (and in many cases, really are happening). For me, the echo of a story set firmly in the real world always haunts me long after I've read the final word. If you like Ellen Hopkins, Jay Asher, and Neal Shusterman, you might like my books, too.

About Me
- Laura
- I'm a writer of contemporary teen fiction. My bookshelf is SLAMMED with young adult novels and I should be on some sort of twelve step program for my spending habits in Barnes and Noble. And, for the record, I LIKE having real books, so no Nook or Kindle for this gal.
Ooooo, cool contest! I'll blog about it next week. And I'm down to the last twenty pages of edits. You'll have Exquisite Gray today or tomorrow. SO NERVOUS!

Don't be nervous! Be excited!!! You're one step closer to having a final draft!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see what happens in this book. I'm telling you, I've never heard of a more compelling central conflict. So pumped.
And, thanks for blogging about my contest! :o)

ReplyDeleteHey, I wanted to let you know that I mentioned the contest on Twitter. Hope you have a good turn out (I'm kinda anti-facebook right now otherwise I'd enter). Good Luck!
